Use description meta tags to provide both search engines and users with a summary of what your page is about! You want your page title to accurately describe what your page is about but you also want it to be “clickable”. Meaning, you want it to draw a searcher’s attention in a search result and entice them to click on it. On top of that, your page title should include your target keyword. Building backlinks is not enough. You also have to monitor every link your website is earning. Not knowing who links to you or when links are being removed can cost you a lot of traffic. The search engines tend to give pages with longer, more in-depth content a higher placement on SERPs. Consumer behavior has rapidly matured with the growth of the online world. Customers access the internet through a variety of different platforms and channels. Two thirds of shoppers report using more than one channel when deciding to make a purchase.
Effect of keyword density on my rankings
If you aren’t seeing a positive ROI after a month or two, try changing tactics and/or improve your methods until you start seeing positive momentum. Google AdWords have a brilliant – and completely free – keyword planner which allows you to search for new keyword ideas while checking out real search volumes. If you’ve got a specific idea for a blog post in mind, use the tool well before you start writing to find a few popular and relevant keywords to include.

Buying backlinks can and does work, however, there’s a substantial risk involved if you buy low quality ones and/or from people who openly sell them. If their website gets penalised, you’re in trouble too. Google has over 200 factors to determine which sites should rank higher than others. As one of the main ranking factors, backlinks are essential to improve a website’s rankings. Think about what happens when you type a query into a search engine. The results you get back are simply a series of page titles and descriptions.
Benchmarking Current Indexing Status
Once you have exceptional content, you need to find ways to get that content out there and seen. That’s where social media comes in. Social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and LinkedIn continually prove to play a major role in doing business online. And with social signals—like follows, shares, likes, Google+’s and retweets — influencing search engine results, your business’s social media presence is something to take seriously. Engage in guest blogging outreach and provide content to sites that share your audience to build links that will provide long-term SEO value. If you want to rank for a high-value, high-competition blockbuster phrase, don’t worry about it. Just start writing high ranking content for lots of related topics. You first need to fill your site with link magnets. How do you add content to Google? To increase your CTR, create a custom description that describes what your page is about and what the reader can expect to get out of visiting your page. You also want to include your target keyword. Think about the searcher’s intent when crafting this description. A social media following shows that the website has an audience who want to hear more. The website you are targeting would want to share their new posts to their audience on social media, promoting your website at the same time. What’s more is that if you’re in the same niche as the website, their audience are more likely to enjoy your content and start following you too.
Choose short, keyword-friendly URLs
According to Gaz Hall, a UK SEO Consultant : "Smart content improves the effectiveness and ROI of the material produced by making itself more discoverable and consumable." Parallax design is a website design approach that’s been used for several years now and takes its name from the concept of parallax movement. Instead of linking from one entire webpage to another, the visitor moves up and down on the same webpage.

You may ask what is seo? It can be quite difficult to explain. It covers such areas as backlink indexing, keyword research using free tools. There are lots of intricacies involved with SEO too, such as long tail search and local search too.

Search engines want to deliver the best results to searchers based on the search terms visitors enter. Unsurprisingly, larger companies tend to outspend smaller firms when it comes to SEO. Whether or not a specific page ranks for a particular keyword depends largely on the quality of that individual page (content, user experience, number and quality of the backlinks, page load speed etc), and not the quality of your website as a whole.
Links are glue
Paid links are links garnered in exchange for payment. They can come from a network of link buyers and sellers, and a network usually consists of a group of low-quality sites that collectively link to a specific website in an effort to increase it’s authority in SERPs. Other times, there may be a reciprocal linking program, where a group of websites link to one another.

Most SEO firms will tell claim it takes 4 to 6 months to start seeing results. It varies wildly but that’s generally in the ballpark for most projects. Note that SEO results are cumulative & escalate over time. If you’re getting positive results after 6 months these will compound after 12 months & re-compound thereafter. The most profitable relationships I’ve entered into with businesses have lasted for over 5 years during which time their fortunes have literally exploded. The freelance world might disagree with me but frankly I do not think there is not an SEO in the world who can lay claim to having the expertise and experience to deliver, hands-on, every single facet of what makes up contemporary SEO. Visual content is more important than ever. It manages to supplement text in the best possible way (or even to replace it) and it certainly can affect SEO. To many users the personalization of search results is helpful and convenient, but an increasing number of users are disturbed by the extent to which the sites they encounter are being shaped by forces outside of their control.
Focus on producing content that is relevant and engaging
The greatest selling point of SEO is something that it shares with most of the broader world of inbound marketing: it allows for the possibility of cumulative growth. Use long tail keywords that are very specific to your business to target a particular audience. These phrases epitomize the true essence of your business without coinciding with other related companies. They also provide you with a chance to score high on a search query most pertinent to your products or services. Principally, technical SEO is concerned with how a website works, and how search engines are able to crawl and index our pages. Think of technical SEO as the foundations of your site – without it, whatever beautiful building you create won’t be as sturdy as you’d like. Once you’ve discovered your evangelists, think about ways to nurture and encourage them. At the simplest (and possibly most meaningful) level, find a way to thank them for spreading the word about your company. In the same way that it takes time to improve your SEO rankings with improvements built up over time, the reverse is true for when you stop optimising your website. At first, your rankings will continue as before but over time you’ll notice that your website rankings will start to drop. Algorithm updates, competitor improvements and loss of links will all negatively impact on your rankings and put you back to square one.
